Sam Butler

SAM BUTLER is an accomplished editor in both narrative film and commercial industries. He has edited over a dozen award-winning short films, web series, and a number of feature films. He recently wrapping up on Kerstin Karlhuber’s feature entitled After All premiering later this year. Most notably, he was the editor on AJ Edward’s film Age Out that premiered at SXSW 2018 (currently streaming on Prime Video) which won several awards including Best Narrative Feature (Buffalo Intl’ Film Festival) and Best Actor (Shanghai Intl’ Film Festival). Other works include Labor+Justice which played at HollyShorts in 2023, A Thousand Times a Day winning Best Editor at Austin Spotlight Film Festival 2023, and the 6 episode web series entitled HOME from Bob Billiam’s Productions which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2018.
